I tried out Zaption. I think I tried it before but was confused by it. I am starting to see the similarities between all the presentation tools and tools for flipped classrooms. It makes it easier to drag and drop all the various bits and pieces to put a presentation together. There's still some slop in what I do but I have moved up the scale from novice to advanced beginner. I can't wait until I achieve competent. (Here is a link to the five stages of skill acquisition.)
Alright, if technology is so great then the true test is the last two classes. I'll be doing some camping this summer and doing some traveling which will have me trying to connect to our classes from remote locations. If all the hype is true then teleschooling should continue without a hitch. Yes, I'm skeptical but I do have the best of intentions. Time zone issues will be what complicates things the most. I voted for the 5:30 - 7:30 classes which might have allowed me to hang out at a coffee shop or library but, with a 7:30 - 9:30 class everything will be closed when I hop ahead one and then two hours. It makes me anxious but, I am committed, and it will work out in the end. Hey, I walked at graduation (!) so I am definitely dedicated to finishing up with the best possible capstone project.

I, too, have trepidation about doing our online classes this summer as I am going to be in England. For me, I will be attending class at 3:30-5:30am twice a week!!!! At least for me, I will be in the safety of my childhood bedroom, and not needing to try and find somewhere to log-in, but I still think the time difference is going to be a bit crazy!!!! Hope you have a wonderful time camping, have an easy time logging-on and look forward to seeing you online :)
